At A Little Enhancement, we are a Nurse and Doctor led multi-award-winning clinic, our dedicated team is led by Astra, a Registered Independent Nurse Prescriber. Based in Winslade Park, Exeter, we specialise in anti aging, skin health, and wellness treatments. Our skilled medical professionals are highly trained and knowledgeable, ensuring that you receive safe and effective care. Astra - Nurse Prescriber/Founder
Astra has been a Registered Nurse for 12 years and has practiced medical aesthetics since 2015, where she now upholds her Nursing midwifery council registration. She has worked within cardiac surgery, plastic surgery, maxilla facial surgery and most recently tissue viability. Astra currently sits on a global complications panel CMAC where she assists other clinicians in managing aesthetic complications and has published an article in the American journal of aesthetic dermatology.
Nina - Doctor
Dr Nina brings over eleven years of medical experience, combining GP insight with the calm reassurance of someone who has truly seen it all. With a background spanning emergency medicine, plastic surgery, and minor procedures, she seamlessly blends clinical expertise with aesthetic artistry.
Her approach is centred on delivering subtle, safe, and confidence-enhancing results. Known for her ultra-precise eye and gentle, reassuring chairside manner, Dr Nina ensures every patient feels comfortable, informed, and cared for throughout their journey.
Emily - Lead Skin and Wellness therapist
Emily is a Level 3 Skin Therapist who has been in the skin and wellness industry since 2018. She has worked alongside Nurse Astra since 2021, and more recently with Doctor Nina. She specialises in advanced, results driven skin treatments that are tailored to each individual. Her approach combines clinical expertise with a holistic perspective, considering hormones, lifestyle, and diet to optimise skin health.
She is extensively trained in advanced technologies and offers a range of personalised treatments. In addition, Emily incorporates Obagi medical grade skincare and has been an Obagi ambassador since 2022. Each patient’s care plan is thoughtfully crafted to help them achieve balanced, natural, and long term skin health.
Heather - Clinic Coordinator
Heather has an extensive background in managerial roles including HR management within the NHS. Heather has vast experience of working within aesthetics and has been working with Astra since the opening of A Little Enhancement. Heather is the primary point of contact and will be the one answering your calls, responding to enquiries and coordinating the day to day running of the clinic.
